For this assignment I made three business cards. The first card I made was the blue one which is my professional business card. I started by making my canvas size 300x200 pixels. The next thing I did was make my canvas color blue and I also copied and pasted some solid black swans onto the card. The last thing I did was type in all the information on the card by using the text tool. On my mid level card I made my card 200 pixels wide and 300 pixels high. I gave my canvas a dark gray color and then I copied and pasted three swans onto my canvas, gave them a blue color and then gave them a ripples texture. Then I used the text tool to type in all the information. The final business card that I made was the unprofessional one. To do this card I made my canvas 300 pixels wide and 200 pixels high. I gave my canvas a green color and then I copied and pasted 5 swans and gave each one a different color. Then I used the text tool to type in all the information in red and in a different font style than the other cards and then I made the text red. Finally I used the pencil tool to mark all over the card with purple lines.

Orfil_animal_pointillisim_2013
This is my pointillism animal as you can see it is a penguin. I started off by opening up an image of a penguin in adobe fireworks CS3. The rest was fairly easy I just used the paintbrush tool, used the size 10, and made lots of dots on the penguin and the background and to get the colors I just clicked the down arrow on the color box and then clicked on the image. For example when I did the penguins head I clicked on the down arrow and then clicked on the penguins head to get the exact color, which is why you can see many different shades of gray and black and white. If you look closely you will see that some dots are bigger than others. Most of the dots on the background are a size 10. Some are size 8. On the penguins head most of the dots are size 5 and some are size 3 and on the body all of the dots are size 10. I also made my canvas color a dark gray so that the penguin would stand out a little more.

Orfil_Pointalisim_Colorwheal
This here is my pointalisim colorwheal. I started off by opening the pointalisim colorwheal in adobe fireworks and then I selected the brush tool and brought the tip size to 30 and selected all the colors from the colorwheal itself. I selected with the paintbrush each individual color by clicking on as much of each color as I could. I placed each individual color in a layer. I did the exact same thing for the other colorwheals only this time I made the tip size 20, 10, and 5. What I did notice is that as the tip size would get smaller and smaller, the colorwheals would look even more realistic, however it took a longer amount of time to do it.

Orfil_Filmstrip_2013
Making this filmstrip was very simple. I started by saving this picture of a 1969 camaro saving it to my file and then opening it up in adobe fireworks. The main tool that I used for each "picture frame was the marquee tool and I used it by selecting rectangles from the image of the camaro and pasting them onto other canvass and adding a black border around them. After I did that I used the lasso tool to select a portion of the image only this time I made it look like it was rotated and I also pasted it onto another canvas and added a black border. After this I opened up a 10x10 inch canvas and took all the pieces and pasted them onto that canvas back to it's original form only now the car looks like a bunch of picture frames put together. Finally the last thing I did was trim the canvas and as you can see there is a little bit of pink at the bottom because my canvas was pink.

Orfil_Eye_2013
In order to make this eye I started off by making circles. I made one small circle that was solid black, and then I made another circle that was solid brown that was bigger than the black circle and I placed the brown circle behind the black circle. After that I made two small white circles and I placed them on the brown circle. After that I did a white oval and put it behind the brown circle and I used the skew tool to shape it into the form of a human eye. I placed this oval behind the brown circle. After all of that I made another oval just like the white one only thin and I used the skew tool to form it so that it could fit the eye and the color brown and I placed this one behind the white circle for my eye lid. For my eye lashes I just used the pen tool and made lots of small lines and placed them around the eye on the eye lid and I used the reshape area tool to make them look curved like human eye lashes. Finally to make my eyebrow I did a black oval and used the skew tool to form it in the shape of a human eye brow. I also added an inner glow to make the eye look even more realistic.

Orfil_Flower_Spotcolor_2013
These two images are my flowers. Just like my raintree these are not the same, the bottom one is the original and the one on top is the one I created by making everything except the flower a sepia tone. I opened the image onto adobe fireworks and then used my magic wand tool to make the background sepia tone. With this tool I would select everything except the flower by making "marching ants" and I would convert the selected parts to sepia tone. Not only did I convert the background to sepia tone, I also converted the very middle of the flower to a sepia tone. I had to zoom in the image so that I could select exactly what I needed.
