Orfil_Filmstrip_2013

Making this filmstrip was very simple. I started by saving this picture of a 1969 camaro saving it to my file and then opening it up in adobe fireworks. The main tool that I used for each "picture frame was the marquee tool and I used it by selecting rectangles from the image of the camaro and pasting them onto other canvass and adding a black border around them. After I did that I used the lasso tool to select a portion of the image only this time I made it look like it was rotated and I also pasted it onto another canvas and added a black border. After this I opened up a 10x10 inch canvas and took all the pieces and pasted them onto that canvas back to it's original form only now the car looks like a bunch of picture frames put together. Finally the last thing I did was trim the canvas and as you can see there is a little bit of pink at the bottom because my canvas was pink.

Face_Clarance_Klay

On my face I started off by making the head of the person. To do that I made a circle, added the color brown to it and used the sub-selection tool to shape it into the form of a human head. I also added a inner glow to the head. The next thing I did was I added the eyes which I had already made. After the eyes I got started on the Afro which I did by making a large black circle and I placed the circle behind the actual head and I added the color black to it and I added the texture "swish" and I brought the texture to a twelve percent. Next I made the comb by making some round rectangles, one horizontal and one vertical that was a little smaller which I placed it above on the horizontal rectangle. I placed the comb behind the Afro so it looked like the comb was stuck in the hair. Next I made the scar on Clarance's cheek by making a very thin oval with a different shade of brown and I added a black outline to the oval. Next I used the sub-selection tool to give the scar a curve and make the scar look realistic and I gave the scar a inner shadow. To make the gotie all I did was make two circles and added the color black and used the sub-selection tool to shape the ovals together into the form of a gotie. I also added the texture "swish" to the gotie and made the texture a twelve percent. Next I made two brown ovals for the lips with a black outline and a darker shade of brown than the face and I used the sub-selection tool to to shape the ovals into the shape of lips. For the nose all I did was make a circle with a black outline and I used the sub-selection tool shape it as best as I could into the shape of a nose.

Orfil_Eye_2013

In order to make this eye I started off by making circles. I made one small circle that was solid black, and then I made another circle that was solid brown that was bigger than the black circle and I placed the brown circle behind the black circle. After that I made two small white circles and I placed them on the brown circle. After that I did a white oval and put it behind the brown circle and I used the skew tool to shape it into the form of a human eye. I placed this oval behind the brown circle. After all of that I made another oval just like the white one only thin and I used the skew tool to form it so that it could fit the eye and the color brown and I placed this one behind the white circle for my eye lid. For my eye lashes I just used the pen tool and made lots of small lines and placed them around the eye on the eye lid and I used the reshape area tool to make them look curved like human eye lashes. Finally to make my eyebrow I did a black oval and used the skew tool to form it in the shape of a human eye brow. I also added an inner glow to make the eye look even more realistic.

Orfil_Flower_Spotcolor_2013

These two images are my flowers. Just like my raintree these are not the same, the bottom one is the original and the one on top is the one I created by making everything except the flower a sepia tone. I opened the image onto adobe fireworks and then used my magic wand tool to make the background sepia tone. With this tool I would select everything except the flower by making "marching ants" and I would convert the selected parts to sepia tone. Not only did I convert the background to sepia tone, I also converted the very middle of the flower to a sepia tone. I had to zoom in the image so that I could select exactly what I needed.

Orfil_sunset_spotcolor_2013

These images here are my sunsets. As you can see they are not the same. The image on the bottom is the original image and the one on top is the same image after I was done. I selected everything by using the magic wand tool and making "marching ants" except for the sun and I converted the selected parts to a gray scale background and left the sun yellow.

Orfil_raintree_spotcolor_2013

These two images are my rain-trees. As you can see these two trees are not the same. The tree on the bottom is the original and the tree on top is the one I created by leaving the tree green and by converting the background to sepia tone. I opened the image on adobe fireworks and used the magic wand tool to make everything a sepia tone except for the tree. With this tool I would select everything except the tree by making "marching ants" and I would convert the selected parts to sepia tone. I had to zoom in the image to make it larger and then be able to select the blue parts inside of the tree to make it sepia tone.
