Orfil_Flash_Stick_Figure_2013

To make my flash stick figure I started off by opening up flash from adobe. I made 10 different layers. Seven of those layers were for the stick figure and each layer was for each thing such as the head, body, arms and legs. The other three were for the background and the UFO. In this animation the stick figure is walking across the field when a UFO hovers over the stick figure, shrinks it and then takes it away. When the stick figure is inside the UFO it flies away and then comes back and mysteriously changes the color of the grass. Then the stick figure comes back out of the UFO onto the ground and it's head grows huge.

Orfil_Limping_Stick_Man_2013_Final

This is my Animated GIF. I started off by opening up adobe fireworks and made my canvas size 700x700 pixels. Next I made my background by making a blue rectangle and placing it on the canvas as the sky and then I made another brown rectangle as the ground. Next I made one last rectangle as the palm tree trunk and made it a darker brown than the ground. For my coconuts I made 10 dark brown circles with a black outline and placed them at the top of the tree trunk. I also made several green triangles for my palm fronds and placed them at the top of the palm tree behind the coconuts. For my stick figure I made five lines, 1 very long and 4 shorter ones, all black and the 4 shorter ones were for my arms and legs. For the head I made one brown oval for the face and behind it I made another black oval for the hair. Next I went into optimize and align and created one frame that had my background and the stick figure and then I duplicated it and changed it just slightly. I did this with each and everyone of my frames until I had finished.

Orfil_Entiat_Museum_Membership_Cards_2013

For this assignment I started off by making two canvases that were 300x200 pixels. One for the front of the business card and one for the back. Next I made rectangles that covered the entire canvas and made them gray. On the front side of the business card I pasted in the logo and right bellow the logo I typed in all the information of the museum using the text tool. For the back of the business card I typed in all the information of the museum by using the text tool. The way I made the gray membership card I also did for the white and orange membership cards only the rectangles that covered the canvases instead of making them gray I made them white and orange.

Orfil_Entiat_Museum_Business_Cards_2013

For this assignment I started off by making 3 300x200 pixel canvas and then I covered these by different color rectangles, one white, one gray and one orange. After that I pasted the logo inside each of the cards and enlarged it using the scale tool and made all 3 logos about the same size. Then the information inside each of the cards I typed in by using the text tool. On the gray and white business cards I added a bold to the text.

Orfil_adidas_business_card_2013

For this assignment I started off by copying and pasting my new logo onto a new canvas, 300x200 pixels and made my background color white. I also added the information by using the text tool, this is my business card. To make my story board I just made a larger canvas, pasted my business card onto it, made my canvas color gray and I added three rectangles, a blue, white and black one because those are the colors I used and put some text inside the rectangles. On the blue rectangle I typed in "Text" because that is the color of my text. On the white rectangle I typed in "Card Stock because that is the color of the card's background. On the black rectangle I typed in "Adidas logo color" because black is the color of the logo.

Orfil_adidas_redesign_and_pictures_2013

On this assignment we needed to choose a logo and redesign it. I chose the Adidas logo for mine and the first thing I did was flip the Adidas sign the other way horizontally. Then the next thing I did was use the text tool to type in the word "Adidas" and I colored the letters blue and I added a drop shadow to them. I then used the skew tool to make the letters narrow on one side and then I moved the word "Adidas" to the top of the Adidas sign. I used the skew tool to rotate the word so that it is slanted downwards like the Adidas sign. I also made my canvas color white.

Orfil_black_swan_business_cards_2013

For this assignment I made three business cards. The first card I made was the blue one which is my professional business card. I started by making my canvas size 300x200 pixels. The next thing I did was make my canvas color blue and I also copied and pasted some solid black swans onto the card. The last thing I did was type in all the information on the card by using the text tool. On my mid level card I made my card 200 pixels wide and 300 pixels high. I gave my canvas a dark gray color and then I copied and pasted three swans onto my canvas, gave them a blue color and then gave them a ripples texture. Then I used the text tool to type in all the information. The final business card that I made was the unprofessional one. To do this card I made my canvas 300 pixels wide and 200 pixels high. I gave my canvas a green color and then I copied and pasted 5 swans and gave each one a different color. Then I used the text tool to type in all the information in red and in a different font style than the other cards and then I made the text red. Finally I used the pencil tool to mark all over the card with purple lines.

Orfil_animal_pointillisim_2013

This is my pointillism animal as you can see it is a penguin. I started off by opening up an image of a penguin in adobe fireworks CS3. The rest was fairly easy I just used the paintbrush tool, used the size 10, and made lots of dots on the penguin and the background and to get the colors I just clicked the down arrow on the color box and then clicked on the image. For example when I did the penguins head I clicked on the down arrow and then clicked on the penguins head to get the exact color, which is why you can see many different shades of gray and black and white. If you look closely you will see that some dots are bigger than others. Most of the dots on the background are a size 10. Some are size 8. On the penguins head most of the dots are size 5 and some are size 3 and on the body all of the dots are size 10. I also made my canvas color a dark gray so that the penguin would stand out a little more.

Orfil_Pointalisim_Colorwheal

This here is my pointalisim colorwheal. I started off by opening the pointalisim colorwheal in adobe fireworks and then I selected the brush tool and brought the tip size to 30 and selected all the colors from the colorwheal itself. I selected with the paintbrush each individual color by clicking on as much of each color as I could. I placed each individual color in a layer. I did the exact same thing for the other colorwheals only this time I made the tip size 20, 10, and 5. What I did notice is that as the tip size would get smaller and smaller, the colorwheals would look even more realistic, however it took a longer amount of time to do it.

Orfil_Filmstrip_2013

Making this filmstrip was very simple. I started by saving this picture of a 1969 camaro saving it to my file and then opening it up in adobe fireworks. The main tool that I used for each "picture frame was the marquee tool and I used it by selecting rectangles from the image of the camaro and pasting them onto other canvass and adding a black border around them. After I did that I used the lasso tool to select a portion of the image only this time I made it look like it was rotated and I also pasted it onto another canvas and added a black border. After this I opened up a 10x10 inch canvas and took all the pieces and pasted them onto that canvas back to it's original form only now the car looks like a bunch of picture frames put together. Finally the last thing I did was trim the canvas and as you can see there is a little bit of pink at the bottom because my canvas was pink.

Face_Clarance_Klay

On my face I started off by making the head of the person. To do that I made a circle, added the color brown to it and used the sub-selection tool to shape it into the form of a human head. I also added a inner glow to the head. The next thing I did was I added the eyes which I had already made. After the eyes I got started on the Afro which I did by making a large black circle and I placed the circle behind the actual head and I added the color black to it and I added the texture "swish" and I brought the texture to a twelve percent. Next I made the comb by making some round rectangles, one horizontal and one vertical that was a little smaller which I placed it above on the horizontal rectangle. I placed the comb behind the Afro so it looked like the comb was stuck in the hair. Next I made the scar on Clarance's cheek by making a very thin oval with a different shade of brown and I added a black outline to the oval. Next I used the sub-selection tool to give the scar a curve and make the scar look realistic and I gave the scar a inner shadow. To make the gotie all I did was make two circles and added the color black and used the sub-selection tool to shape the ovals together into the form of a gotie. I also added the texture "swish" to the gotie and made the texture a twelve percent. Next I made two brown ovals for the lips with a black outline and a darker shade of brown than the face and I used the sub-selection tool to to shape the ovals into the shape of lips. For the nose all I did was make a circle with a black outline and I used the sub-selection tool shape it as best as I could into the shape of a nose.

Orfil_Eye_2013

In order to make this eye I started off by making circles. I made one small circle that was solid black, and then I made another circle that was solid brown that was bigger than the black circle and I placed the brown circle behind the black circle. After that I made two small white circles and I placed them on the brown circle. After that I did a white oval and put it behind the brown circle and I used the skew tool to shape it into the form of a human eye. I placed this oval behind the brown circle. After all of that I made another oval just like the white one only thin and I used the skew tool to form it so that it could fit the eye and the color brown and I placed this one behind the white circle for my eye lid. For my eye lashes I just used the pen tool and made lots of small lines and placed them around the eye on the eye lid and I used the reshape area tool to make them look curved like human eye lashes. Finally to make my eyebrow I did a black oval and used the skew tool to form it in the shape of a human eye brow. I also added an inner glow to make the eye look even more realistic.

Orfil_Flower_Spotcolor_2013

These two images are my flowers. Just like my raintree these are not the same, the bottom one is the original and the one on top is the one I created by making everything except the flower a sepia tone. I opened the image onto adobe fireworks and then used my magic wand tool to make the background sepia tone. With this tool I would select everything except the flower by making "marching ants" and I would convert the selected parts to sepia tone. Not only did I convert the background to sepia tone, I also converted the very middle of the flower to a sepia tone. I had to zoom in the image so that I could select exactly what I needed.

Orfil_sunset_spotcolor_2013

These images here are my sunsets. As you can see they are not the same. The image on the bottom is the original image and the one on top is the same image after I was done. I selected everything by using the magic wand tool and making "marching ants" except for the sun and I converted the selected parts to a gray scale background and left the sun yellow.

Orfil_raintree_spotcolor_2013

These two images are my rain-trees. As you can see these two trees are not the same. The tree on the bottom is the original and the tree on top is the one I created by leaving the tree green and by converting the background to sepia tone. I opened the image on adobe fireworks and used the magic wand tool to make everything a sepia tone except for the tree. With this tool I would select everything except the tree by making "marching ants" and I would convert the selected parts to sepia tone. I had to zoom in the image to make it larger and then be able to select the blue parts inside of the tree to make it sepia tone.
